Housing & Community Development Leadership Insititue

Here’s how you can get involved!

There are different ways your organization can help develop the housing and community development leaders of tomorrow. We need to offer scholarships to our students to offset the cost of tuition for our course selection. The cost of training ranges from $100 for a webinar course to up to $5,000 for series and certification.

Sponsor or Donate

HCDLI is committed to increasing the number of women and people of color working in the field of housing and community development. Your financial support allows us to continue to offer this program free of cost to the participants.

Become a sponsor of an overall program or a specific track that suits your interest and mission. Sponsors and donors receive a tax deduction for their contribution.

Offer or Sponsor an Internship

HCDLI candidates participate in internships as part of their experience in the Institute. We create partnerships with employers to offer opportunities for our students to gain hands-on experience in the field of housing and community development.

Volunteer

HCDLI welcomes the involvement of experienced professionals in the field of housing and community development. Some possible ways to share your expertise with HCDLI candidates include: be a guest speaker in one of our courses; host a visit to your workplace; meet with students to discuss career options and job search techniques; or invite students to networking opportunities. We are open to your suggestions too.
